Roswitha Dasch
Roswitha Dasch was born in Marl and grown up in Haltern am See, Germany and later studied violin, graduating in 1991. She also studied voice privately. She has been studying Jewish culture and music since 1980 and has a longstanding career performing concerts with the trio Pajkele, the ensemble Lewone, and two pianists Elke Masino and Regina Neumann. In 1999 she began working with Freiburg musician Katharina Müther in Duo Vajlu. Most recently, Roswitha performed in the 2004 premiere of the Chanson Program called “Es liegt was in der Luft,” or “There’s something in the air,” (music by Mischa Spoliansky) with pianist Ulrich Raue.
